Data Deletion Instructions

Last updated: October 27, 2026

1. Request deletion of your account and data

To have your Mycompose account and the personal data associated with it deleted, send an email from the address linked to your account to:

Mycomp IT-Services GmbH
Brühl 2, 8580 Sommeri TG, Switzerland
Email: socialmedia@mycomp.ch

Include the words "data deletion request" in the subject line. We will confirm the request and delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, unless a legal obligation requires longer retention. Workspace administrators can also remove team members directly in the application (Settings → Team), which deletes the member's account and sign-in identity.

2. Disconnect social media accounts

Disconnecting a social account removes the stored access tokens and page metadata for that connection:

  • In Mycompose: Settings → Social Accounts → disconnect the platform connection.
  • On Facebook / Instagram: remove "Mycompose" under Settings & privacy → Apps and websites (business integrations). Meta then notifies us and any remaining tokens for that connection are invalidated and deleted.
  • On LinkedIn: remove the app under Settings & Privacy → Data privacy → Permitted services.
  • For Google: revoke access at myaccount.google.com → Security → Third-party apps & services.
  • On TikTok: remove "Mycompose" under Settings and privacy → Security and permissions → Apps and services permissions. The TikTok tokens Mycompose holds stop working and are deleted.

3. What gets deleted

A deletion request covers your account profile (name, email, sign-in identity), the OAuth tokens of social connections you created and your personal activity records. Content that belongs to a brand workspace (posts, media, publication history) is owned by the workspace and is deleted when the workspace itself is deleted or on specific request by the workspace owner.
